Beautiful location, room clean & spacious, although our outlook onto the courtyard was a little disappointing. The food in the restaurant had plenty of choice and Lily (our waitress) was friendly professional and helpful.

Janice and Lily in the restaurant were fab :) we stay here a few times a year to play golf always feel welcome and appreciate the special touches like being given the same room. I love the pool and table tennis, thanks

All the staff we dealt with were very friendly, professional and obviously enjoy working there, which makes a huge difference. Spa area was very nice, food outlets we used were very good, room was clean with a great view of the golf course. The meal in the Brasserie was superb, great steak and lamb, Ana our waitress was a great advert for the establishment, personable, professional, attentive at the right times, thank you. Ideal place for a couple of nights away, or a society golf trip, which says a lot about how well things are managed.

Fantastic night away with my 2 daughters. They loved the pool which I did also and was able to have a drink when I watched them play. Great staff throughout the hotel and a lovely meal. Would definitely come back. Absolutely fantastic.

What a wonderfully relaxing 2 day spa break we’ve had. All the staff have been extremely pleasant and helpful but special mention must go to Karol in the dining room, a lovely young man, nothing was too much trouble. What an asset to Slayley Hall!

Very nice staff, everyone has been more than happy to help and chat, brilliant service. Clean room, big range of facilities, well maintained. Delicious food. Easy to get taxis buses and trains to other places and cities. Outdoors areas are beautiful, lots of places to walk. Matthew our server at dinner was very nice and helpful :)

My experience at Slalay Hall was massively positive. Excellent spa facilities and pool alongside a surprisingly well equipped gym. The highlight of the stay was the restaurant, some of the best food ive ever had accompanied by brilliant service from Matthew.

Beautiful location in Northumberland. Very professional atmosphere with outstanding staff, who couldn't do enough to assist. The rooms were very good and everything worked properly. The dining was very good with sensibly priced, well presented food.it has been a very good break.

We opted for a Junior Suite and found the accommodation very comfortable. There was a couple of maintenance issues with the room that looked to be outstanding for some time and this was reported to reception on our departure. We trust that these have been attended to by now. One other housekeeping issue was the corridor outside the room had not been cleaned throughout our stay. We enjoyed our meals in the restaurant and the choice provided. The restaurant staff were particularly efficient and friendly. The small lounge areas were comfortable and such that we could relax. I consider that this is a fair assessment of the accommodation and staff. My final comment for management would be ~ you have a very good business take action with the minor niggling details and provide complete customer satisfaction.

We stayed two nights in the middle of May in the Langley suite. It was very spacious with lovely views. The bathroom was lovely, the bedroom was comfortable although the small net curtain on the left hand side window the bed was torn and there were cobwebs on the other window. The lounge was a great size but let down by the sofa and chairs which looked like they had better days, especially compared to the beautiful furnishings in the guest lounges. Our meal in the restaurant was really enjoyable, terrific staff, especially Matthew who was so helpful. We ate in the golf bar on the second night which again was really enjoyable. We would definitely go back as we didn't have time to try the Spa, my husband really enjoyed the golf course and all the staff there including the golf shop were lovely.
