Dining at Slaley Hall, Northumberland
Visit our Hexham restaurant for delicious food
Mix it up a bit at Slaley Hall. With a choice of places to eat in Hexham, including restaurants, bars and al fresco dining, you don’t always have to stick to the same routine here.
Each of our food and drink areas have their own unique character, and you can be sure of a friendly North East welcome wherever you choose to pitch up.
Our main restaurant, Mr Kennedy’s Brasserie, is a relaxed setting for breakfast and evening meals. We serve the classics, together with some tempting vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Kids are catered for too, with a children’s menu to please younger palates. Kids, 5 and under, eat for free. For 5 to 12 years breakfast is £5 each and for 13 - 16 years breakfast is £7.50 each.
For a more casual bite or quick drink, head to the Claret Jug clubhouse. It’s a great spot for golfers and families to relax and watch whatever’s going on in the world of sport with their meal. If it’s a warm day, you’ll love sitting out on the terrace overlooking the course.
Afternoon tea in Northumberland is always a special treat, so why not join us here in one of our elegant rooms. Expect dainty finger sandwiches, bite-size cakes and fresh scones, all served with a pot of tea, gin or champagne.
When your day is done, retire to the Whisky Snug or the 19th Bar for a well-earned nightcap.
At Slaley Hall, we’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Good to know:
Our dinner inclusive packages for adults include meals up to a value of £28 per person (drinks not included). Available for adults only, children are to be paid as taken with under 5's eating for free.
Joining us for two nights or more? Dine with us a second time and if you order three courses (coffee counts!), we’ll knock 10% off this bill, both food and drinks! Simply retain the bill from your previous meal and present this when dining again in any of our restaurants or bars.
