An amazing place to visit. We had a great night away for our 22nd anniversary. Loved the pool, but the changing room needs for changing spaces. Loved the old and new blend of the building. It has a lovely calming feeling and the staff were happy and friendly. The room was as expected clean and had all the essentials needed. You could hear the doors close from other guests but didn't bother us that much. We used a Groupon for bed, breakfast and evening meal and it was excellent value with only a few drinks to pay for. Overall we had a great night away that was calm and relaxing.

Booked a spa day break. Spa and pool was class, lovely staff. Went for food at the restaurant, was amazing. Our server, Samuel Mcbride, was a lovely lad, very attentive and good laugh. Would recommend.

Just had dinner here, served by Charlie. Lovely young man, polite, knowledgeable and helpful young man. Food lovely, would recommend.

Chose Slaley as our March golf venue. £219 pp for bed, breakfast, evening meals and 3 x golf. Two night break. Fantastic price. Breakfast was awesome. All generally young staff, very helpful and attentive. Great selection of breakfast choices, from full english to cereals and muffns. Very clean in the restaurants. £35 allowence for evening meals, enough for a starter and most mains. Pudding would prob cost a little extra. Food was served quickly and efficiently. Served by Jamie R. Young man, very smart and polite. Credit to the hotel, as were the other staff we spoke to including Aisha the cleaner and Sian Louise on reception. Such a great hotel to visit. Golf was outstanding, the Priestman just had a little less maintanance than the championship course, which was in great condition for March. SPA is one of the nicest i have been in, facilities are very good. Only complaint would be a chap, who appeated local to the area, was vaping inside next to the pool. Came last year twice and will definately be back again.

Travelled to Slaley Hall for a family wedding. Staff very friendly and helpful, special shout out to Lani in the bar, what a whizz working under press with a big smile. Also to lewis walls who was the solo barman on the night of the wedding. And Jamie R who was our waiter in the restaurant. Phenomenal young people.

Would highly recommend slaley .. food and service is top class and up there with the best I’ve had … young lad serving on the evening called Karol was excellent and polite and charming … also front of house were excellent on check in and check out … relaxing surroundings and clean rooms … will definitely visit again … only slight issue was that the jacuzzi in the spa pool area had a lot of dirt in it and the same dirt was there the next day .. I would have expected this to be cleaned.

I had a great experience for the moment I arrived and a big part of that was thanks to Tony on the door. He was welcoming friendly and made everyone feel at ease straight away. He handled everything So professionally, keeping things organised while still being friendly and approachable You can tell he’s great with people-calm, confident and generally cares about customers having a good time even when it was busy he stayed up and in control which made a big difference. He’s a real credit to the place and definitely one of the reasons we’d come back!

Samual Macbride who was our waiter was excellent he was friendly attentive efficient and very polite he made the difference between a meal and a dining experience. He is a credit to the company.

Really good stay. Food was excellent, service from Ruby was excellent as well. Pool good, grounds nice. Only marked down as the glasses we had in our room weren’t clean and the slightly limited times we could take the kids to the pool. Although if we’d gone without the kids, I’ve have been positive about that…!

A really lovely hotel set in a fantastic tranquil location however there is evidence that it is getting a little tired. I stayed in room 306 and reported the that I couldn’t get the heating to work and with minutes a very friendly maintenance man arrived and sorted the problem. However, the heating never got up to the modest setting we desired. We realised the the room must have a problem previously as there was a standard domestic electric floor heater already there. Beds were very comfortable. Dinner was excellent and served us by Jamie R who provided an amazing service and confidently answered the questions that I asked. The lounges were comfortable and provided a restful area to chill. Overall the stay was good.
