I have been for a spa galantines day today with friends,I had an express facial with Joanne,it was amazing!very relaxing and Joanne was very professional❤️ We had use of the spa facilities and afternoon tea which was lovely,overall great experience and value for money.

We spent a night at Slaley Hall to celebrate my 60th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed it. All of the staff were amazing, so helpful and attentive. A big shout out to Abby in Hadrian’s Brasserie, who made sure our every need was met. She greeted us with a glass of Prosecco each to celebrate my birthday. The food was amazing!

Had a wonderful treatment with Donna, all the stress floated away and felt amazing after the treatment. Donna explained everything and made me feel welcome and relaxed

Eventually - We were pleasantly surprised. Spa treatments (Siobhan) excellent. The pool was larger than we’d expected (it needed to be as it was rammed with families. Sadly we had booked at half term). Our mistake I feel. The restaurant food was excellent, as was our waitress, Ruby. She remained calm, friendly and professional, despite the very slow service from the kitchen. Perhaps if the hotel offered a children’s teatime at around 5 or 6, where family dinning could be managed well and away from the fine dinning experience, this might take the pressure off the kitchen? Because the standard of food was really great. The bar had run out of some of the cocktails which I wanted to try, the bar tender, Morgan, handled this with professionalism and gentle humour. Both Ruby and Morgan rightly deserve praise for their customer service, they made our stay feel that extra bit special. Our room was a standard double and exceeded my expectations. Clean, comfortable and spacious. At first, I thought, no, I would not book here again because it was so horribly busy. But the staff are so exceptional, they turned me round to deciding, not if, but when I would book again.

Relaxed atmosphere, in a great location, so clean and tidy throughout, our superior kimg room was a lovely. We especially had an amazing meal in the restaurant, with such a great and friendly service from Rory. Thank you 😊

I wanted to express our sincere thanks for the room upgrade during our recent stay. It truly enhanced our visit. We had a fantastic night and greatly appreciated the extra comfort and care. We stay here regularly and have always had excellent experiences. We have never seen it quite so busy, which is completely understandable with Valentine’s Day and half term. Despite how busy it was, every encounter we had with staff was lovely. It was clear they were under pressure, but they remained professional, friendly, and attentive throughout. We would also like to mention the restaurant team. Although we waited around two hours for our food, they did their very best to explain the situation and keep us informed. We really appreciated their efforts and how well they handled what was clearly an exceptionally busy evening. Thank you again for a memorable stay. We look forward to returning again soon.

Excellent meal in the restaurant 10/10. The lad who served us (Jack stewart) was amazing. He was very polite, professional and a real asset to slaley hall. Excellent customer service. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. Thank you.

Lovely hotel spa facilities and pool is excellent service and food is top notch and Jamie R the waiter is great always there to help with anything you need

Food was fantastic had our meal on first night afternoon tea the following day burger and snacks second night all fantastic. Only down falls was the over 1 hour wait for our afternoon tea we booked for 3pm didnt get seen for ages afternoon tea was 1 hour late then noone came back with a pot of tea so we finished out cakes in our room with a cuppa. All staff were fantastic friendly and polite. Definitely will be returning

Went to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary and had a nice stay. Good stuff - When I booked I sent a message saying we were celebrating our anniversary and we were given a lovely surprise of a bottle of champagne in our room which was an amazing gesture. - The upgrade to the Queen Junior suite was very good value. - My fish and chips in the restaurant was nice and so was the cheeseboard . - Spa area with pool was relaxing. - Room was lovely Disappointing stuff - We arrived about 12.30 thinking we could still use the spa. Disappointedly were told we could only do this after check in a 3pm. We haven’t stayed for a couple of years so this appears to have changed. Our fault because we didn’t read the terms. - Got to check out at 2.55pm and told the room wasn’t ready and told to come back at 3pm. Big queue behind us so they rang through and it wouldn’t be ready for 3pm. We could still use the spa but it was a faff having to put bags in office and take out swim clothes. - Ordered the three-cheese cheese board but only came out with one piece. When it came back the three cheeses were the same so back it went - Wife didn’t have a spoon for her pudding and she was given a soup spoon when one was brought to the table! A mixed stay oneralll and wouldn’t been a three but for the amazing gesture for our anniversary.

Room perfect , free bar in toon with 2 beers , 2 wines. 2 pepsi and water. Nice coffee machine. Excellent spa treatment. Spa pool very busy but went at peak time . All staff incredibly polite and helpful. Check in queue but we turned up at peak time . Food great , mackerel starter was amazing. Special mention to waiter Samuel McBride, friendly and helpful +++ .

Just home from a great weekend. First visit here, but won't be the last. Lovely building in a wonderful surrounding. Food was very good, service perfect. Our room was a good size, with everything we needed in it. Alexis did a good job. All the staff were cheery and friendly. With a special mention for Sam McBride in the restaurant, and Jamie, Morgan, Kate and Emma for looking after us so well in the bar.

We had a lovely relaxing night at Slaley. Amazing massage and beautiful food. Jamie looked after us in the restaurant and he was very kind and helpful.
