Their doors are open to anyone from the age of 6 with a wide range of activities to choose from ranging from quad biking to axe and knife throwing all on site at Slaley Hall.

Hadrian's Wall

A World Heritage Site since 1987, Hadrian’s Wall is an astounding feat of engineering that is best known for being Britain’s most impressive and most important Roman monument. Together with the Antonine Wall and the Upper German Raetian Limes, it forms part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site ‘Frontiers of the Roman Empire.’

Blue Reef Aquarium

Blue Reef Aquarium in Tynemouth is home to over 40 living displays – from graceful stingrays and tropical sharks to otters, frogs, and seahorses – which all bring the complexity and immense variety of life in the ocean to life. You’ll also have the opportunity to step into the diverse tropical rainforest and meet our colony of adorable monkeys; including tiny marmosets and comical-looking cotton-topped tamarins.

Kielder Observatory

Located in the heart of Northumberland International Dark Sky Park, Kielder Observatory is a paradise for astronomy enthusiasts. Book onto an event to enjoy the full Observatory experience and get to use the large telescopes supervised by astronomers from Kielder Observatory Astronomical Society (KOAS).

Alnwick Castle

One of the most iconic, and the second largest inhabited, castles in the UK, Alnwick Castle dates back to the Norman Period of 1309. Most known for featuring as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter film series thanks to the medieval architecture and Italianate State Rooms. There is a rich history of drama and intrigue to explore, providing a fun-filled day out for all ages.
